Hello to YOU and thank you for taking the time to e-meet me! I’m Jessica McTaggart, owner and creative mind behind Pink Champagne Events. Instead of boring you with my professional & lengthy resume (which I’m happy to share when we connect), I want to share a few of the quirks that provide a deeper insight into who I am and why I love what I do. 

For starters, I’m just a small town girl (looking at you, Lamar, CO), living in a lon…err, fast-paced, wedding & event world. If you’re suddenly singing in your head right now (or out loud to yourself), chances are so am I! Whether I’m working on emails & vendor contacts, creating design palettes, traveling to a wedding, or setting up an event, I ALWAYS have music playing in the background.

Because the wedding & events industry has a rap for being full of styled life and perceived perfection, I try not to take myself too seriously. I love laughing and having fun. It’s one of the most important and countless reasons I married my husband. With a quick quip or witty comment he keeps my smile beaming and my laugh loud. I bring that same joyful vibrancy to the planning table, with a perfectly timed joke, heaping helping of grace.

As a luxury wedding & event planner, I have seen and enjoy all of the grandeur life has to offer. However, on non-workdays, I’m a tomboy and total boy-mom. You’ll likely find me hanging out on the bleachers or sidelines of our boys’ games in jeans, a t-shirt, and a ponytail. I never pass up an opportunity to catch a ball game at Coors Field (go Rox!) or stuff my face with loaded nachos and a beer (or glass of pink bubbly :) ).

I grew up eating dinner around the table, as a family. A big, loud, get-it-now-or-you-don’t-get-any, mostly happy, always loving family. Breaking bread together was and still is our way of saying “welcome and we love you” to all that join us. I firmly believe that that togetherness is the foundation for not only a beautiful celebration among friends & family, but more importantly, an adoring & devoted marriage.
